My heart beats faster each second as the words plays over and over again in my head.
Oh God! He just said he loves me. He just said he loves me!
He just f****ng told me that he loves me!
It’s like electricity rushes through me and my heart tightens as the words plays over and over again.
This is the moment that I have been waiting for ever since I found out that I’m slowly falling for him.
This is the word that I have been wanting him to say to me ever since I found out that I can’t do without him and now that he has said it, I can’t help the joy that my heart leaps at.
Nothing could have make me happier than this moment. I don’t want to be anywhere except from here. Listening to his voice with my heart beating so fast like it’s going to jump right out of my chest.
“Javier…”
I said when I finally find my voice and it’s small and tiny and a little shaky from the shock that I’m still recovering from.
“I mean it Arielle and I know that you’re hurt because it took me this long to say it. I’m very sorry that it took this long and I’m very sorry that I couldn’t say it when you needed me to. It’s just that this is very new to me. Falling in love with someone and wanting that person to be yours so badly,it is all new to me and I was so scared because I know who I am and who you are. We are so different from each other and I didn’t know what to do but all the same I didn’t want to lose you and I love you Arielle. ‘
He said it again.
He said the words again.
“God! I wish I could see you right now. You have no idea how much I have missed you. I know I f**ked things up badly and I know that you’re hurt and you don’t want to see me anymore but please Arielle. Come back to me,you have to come back to me. I don’t think I can live any second without you anymore.
I want you here.. with me. ”
He whispers and a smile creeks it’s way to my lips as I nod even though he can’t see me right now.
“I want to come back to you. I will cone back to you no matter what but first I have to settle things here. A lot have happened within these last few days Javier..”
“I didn’t lose you, did I?”
His voice is so low as if he’s almost afraid to say the words and I couldn’t help but to smile again.
“You didn’t. I will always be yours no matter what. I promise you that. ”
“Then can you do another thing for me. ”
Silence.. comfortable silence.
“Be mine. ”
And all air disappears from my lungs.
