I kissed her slowly with affection.
She responded while touched her shoulder and down to her hand, locking our fingers together.
We broke the kiss to catch our breath.
“Did..did we just kissed now?” Kimberly blinkled.
“No, we had sex” I scoffed.
Gosh! I can’t believe I kissed her. What came over me? And she’d kissed back.
She tried getting up from me and this time, I let her go. Adjusting her dress, she looked away shyly when our eyes met. I got up from the bed and walked to the door.
“Just pretend we didn’t kiss at all.” I said to her.
I left the room. Aissh! I didn’t just do that.
“Is something wrong? Why are you frowning?” My mom asked.
I raised my head to see her. “Sarah brought you upstairs?”
“Yes. It been long am here. I saw you come out of Kimberly’s room, is anything wrong?” She asked.
“No, no, nothing. I just said thank you to her.”
“Thank you? Wow! That’s sweet” She winked.
She’s always up to something.
“Thanks mom.”
“Should I take you downstairs now? Or you want to stay around here for a while and watch the sky outside?” I walked to my mom and pushed her wheel chair to the balcony.
“Thanks son. Hmmm….fresh air fresh memories” My mom heaved a sigh.

I left my mom there but told her to call me whenever she needs me.
Kimberly was walking in the corridor when she saw me. She stood still and turned to another direction but I stopped her.
“Are you avoiding me?” I scoffed, taking my steps closer to her.
“Me? No, I’m not avoiding you.” Her back was facing me.
I got to her and touched her neck, tracing It to her lips.
She moved back, I followed her. She repeated the action and I also did till her back to the door. I smiled and caged her to the door with my hands.
“You’re avoiding me cause of a kiss?” I whispered.
Kimberly shook her head and said,
“I’m not avoiding you, Jayden. I..I..I…..”
Oh she lost the words.
“Don’t think too much about the kiss and the one I’m about to give you.”
I kissed her before she could say anything again.
