“Immediately I heard the word ‘surprise’, I suddenly smiled and became restless. I dashed into my wardrobe, picked up a shirt and took my ATM card.
Just as I was about stepping out of the room, her phone started ringing……”

#Episode 5
She picked the call and though I
couldn’t hear what the caller was saying, Nana Akua was responding “ok, alright, ok, ok” on the phone till she cut the call.
Before I could say anything, Nana Akua said “that is my room mate at school. She called to ask the time I will get to
Accra”.
I dashed out of the room and stood outside my house for about 10 minutes thinking about all that has happened.
I asked myself “Am I actually a fool?” “what if she is right about having a cousin?”. After all, she promised to have sex with me before leaving so I will actually have a feel of her but should I tell her about what I saw on
facebook?
What if she asked me how I got to
know her account details?, but if I don’t give her the money, how will she get to Accra?.
Or should I delay her till tomorrow so as to enjoy her over the night?
But NO, she is having a 4 credit hour paper test tomorrow and Nana Akua is very beautiful, I think I like her naturally because if not, I’m sure I wouldn’t be acting this foolishly******.
The thoughts were just coming in and overlapping in my mind that I didn’t  even know which one to opt for.
At some point, I just made up my mind to give her GHc50  to manage.
After all, I won’t pay more than 50GHc if I should invite a prostitute for home service.
My mind was made up. I am paying only for the surprised sex and I will assume that I lost the 100GHc I gave her earlier.
I stopped thinking and flagged down a taxi.
Me: Take me to Amakom.
He said “Its 3GHc”. No problem, I replied.
He  drove by the WAEC office and finally   alighted me in front of Bank of Africa. The queue at the ATM was so much and i couldn’t wait so I decided to go
to GTB ATM adjacent Bank of Africa. The queue wasn’t long as compared to Bank of Africa even though I was number 12th in line.  I was so anxious to withdraw the money and return home for my surprise package, in fact, I insulted anyone who stayed longer on the machine.
When there were about 6 people in front of me, something just struck me to go on facebook and check her recent chats. This time, I got the greatest
shock of my life. What I saw as I opened her recent messages angered me.
She had started a chat with swordman about 5 minutes ago.
SWORDMAN: Hi, Baby
Nana Akua: Sweetie, I’m fine. I so much enjoyed the way you made love to me. It was the best I have ever had in my life.
***I developed a headache instantly. I scrolled up to read again incase I didn’t
get it very well and continued reading***
SWORD:. Same thing here. I really miss your blowjobs. In fact, if not for the test you said you needed to write tomorrow, I wouldn’t have let go of you today.
Nana Akua: Baby don’t worry, I will be back after the semester break because I can’t wait to feel you again
SWORD: That’s my baby. How is it going with the place you said you’re going for your transport fare. I mean your daddy’s friend. The one you spoke to me about?.
Nana Akua: I’m there already but he went out to the bank to withdraw money for me.. .
SWORD: Why not come here for a quickie plssssss???
Nana Akua: Time is far spent and he will be back soon
SWORD: Baby please; It won’t be long. I promise it won’t exceed 10minutes.
Nana Akua:Are u sure?
SWORD: I promise
Nana Akua: Ok dear, set the stage and don’t let me meet you with clothes on. Also, make sure its a hot ride. I will be there in a jiffy.
SWORD: OK dear, I will be waiting.

**************
Ahhhh!!! I shouted and it attracted the attention of the people in the queue. They asked me what the problem was
but I couldn’t say anything.
** I stepped out of the queue and wondered if I was dreaming. Just
as I was thinking of what next to do,my phone beeped with a message from Nana Akua saying
“Baby, pls I left my school ID card at my cousin’s so i’m going to get it. I will be back in 20minutes. Please.
I don’t know when I started crying.
I was crying like a baby on the busy road. I said to myself
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

.
“This time, I must teach this bitch a lesson she will never forget in her life” EVER!!!

Castro Missing Saga: Asamoah Gyan Sues Maurice Ampaw; Demands Ȼ5m

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has sued Maurice Ampaw over public comments the latter is reported to have made which indicts the footballer of culpability and criminality over the disappearance of hip-life musician Castro.

Asamoah Gyan, in a writ sighted by News-One, is seeking a perpetual injunction to restrain the lawyer from repeating such comments and also demanding damages to the tune of Ȼ5 million from the outspoken legal practitioner.

The writ, filed by lawyer Kissi Agyabeng, said Maurice Ampaw in a series of interviews with several media houses across Ghana had insisted consistently that he knew where to find the missing musician and called for the arrest of Asamoah Gyan, as though the Black Stars captain had something to hide in the missing Castro saga.

It said Maurice Ampaw had also alleged that there were attempts by close associates of Asamoah Gyan to bribe Castro’s mother with an amount of Ȼl0, 000 so she would stop searching for her missing son.

image

According to the writ, attempts were also made to gag media discussions on the running story of the missing musician.
The writ mentioned Kumasi-based radio station Metro 94.1 Fm, Accra- based Radio XYZ 93.1 Fm, Starr 103.5 Fm, Adom 106.3 Fm, Sky Power 93.5 Fm and Citi 97.3 Fm as the radio stations on which Maurice Ampaw made the supposed libellous statements.

The writ said relevant portions of recordings of the said interviews would be made available to the court to be played at the trial.

It stated for instance that on September 10, 2014, Maurice Ampaw in an interview with Starr 103.5 Fm made the following remarks:

“I think I have done a little bit of investigation. I was following the police to do further investigations and intelligent works on the disappearance of Castro but I think the police did not actually take my advice seriously.

“I personally decided to go down there to find out a lot about what actually happened and I’ve learnt a lot of information and I think I have gathered a lot that by the end of the month I’ve decided to let it go for people to know that Castro is not dead; but Jane, we might not find.”

On July 17, 2014, Maurice Ampaw is also reported to have told Metro 94.1 Fm: “If Ghana were a serious nation, we wouldn’t have allowed marine police to go and have fun on the sea, with the intention of searching for Castro’s body.”

“Then Asamoah Gyan also picked up a boat’ saying he is going to search for Castro. This will not happen in a serious country. For Christ’s sake, Castro is a celebrity, a star.”

“Anybody who was involved should be arrested to enable the person write his statement. We are in a country where people do not know their rights and that’s why they are walking freely.”

“I am therefore calling for the arrest of Asamoah Gyan and anybody who went with them to Ada.”

Castro and Jane were reported missing on July 6 while cruising on the Volta Lake at Ada after they had gone there as part of an entourage Asamoah Gyan was making merry and holidaying with.

“Tolani!” Oladele shouted his son’s name so he could come and greet his friend and ‘the princess’ as she was termed.

Tolani rushed down the stairs.

“Wao! Tola has grown bigger!”

“Same as his so-called wife.” Oladele said, jokingly.

Prof. and Oladele were so close before they missed their contacts. Then, Tolani was always called Feyi’s husband.

“Do you know her?” His father pointed at Feyi.

“Not sure dad”

“I knew it, what of you, Feyi?” He asked her.

“I recognize him, I still know him.” She smiled.

************.

“How was it?” Stella quickly asked

“Still the same..”

“Nawa oh.”

“See, I got to know there’s a vacancy at Diamond hotel while coming, let’s go and try that, early tomorrow.” Favour said.

“ ****

“For the time being, you’ll go and manage my Diamond Hotel. ” Prof. Olakunle addressed his daughter, Feyi..”

“Alright Dad.” Feyi smiled happily

Episode 3

It was 7:15 am when Stella left Favour for the Hotel. She had not been feeling good about the hotel, she didn’t wish to venture into that kind of work. It made her remember her father, how he did speak to her and how he was been tortured for uncommitted offence. She had prayed and hoped she’d be favoured.

Favour led the way as they were going, while Stella was behind, still brooding. It was like she was painting the image of her father in her memory until a vehicle almost collided with her.

At first, she thought she had been hit by the vehicle and fell instantly. The young guy who was heading to his own office ran down from the car and helped her up. She was already in shock, shivering. “She can’t be left this way…” he said to Favour and carried her into his car.

He was a gentle handsome guy. He was also aiming at getting to office so early when he almost hit her. He got her to the hospital for little treatments and advised her on brooding. He said he’d come and check on her by evening, since the Doctor said she wanted her to take a rest till evening.

*************

Tolani entered into his office and sat heavily. It was such a nice nIght knowing well that his father wasn’t ready to force him into any relationship. He smiled and sat back. On turning his head to the left, he sighted Stella’s framed photograph. It made him remember the pasts again.

He deliberately put the frame there so that he wouldn’t forget her any hour. He took his eyes off the photograph, he had to complete his left over works.

****

Tobiloba was about leaving the house when his grandmother knocked at his door. He was provoked because he wasn’t expecting anyone and he wished to get to his place of work as early as he could.  Washing the car delayed him up to that time, he’d have left home early as usual.

Though he slept drunk but he always wake up early. “Who’s there?” He asked and picked his briefcase.

He heard his Grandmother’ s voice call his name. “This woman is here this morning again?” He was beginning to be inpatient. He unlocked the door and prostrated.

The woman in her late sixties smiled and prayed for him. She knew he wasn’t happy with her visit because it was written all over his face, but he had no choice.

Tobiloba was the only child given birth to, by his mother before she kicked the bucket. He was just in his 300 level in the university when the incident occurred. His mother  died of hypertension and left her mother behind, who had been taking care of Tobiloba since then.

He was handsome, but had a problem- drinking. He had just two friends who he did drink with, almost everyday. The woman; his grandmother had done all she could to abort that behaviour but he kept on drinking.

He worked as a Manager at David & sons, a company owned by Temitope Williams. “I came for an important discussion.” The grandmother walked in and left him by the door.

‘What discussion again?’ He stretched his hands angrily, muttering.

“Come in here and let’s discuss.” She kept on walking in.

Tobi shut the door and walked behind her slowly and indignantly. “I have to get to work early, grandma.” He said.

“Tell that your boss that I came to talk to my son.” She finally got to the living room.

It was small sitting room, well furnished and had a nice scent. It was neat and tidied up, perhaps because it was owned by a bachelor.

He sat down, staring at his grandmother from where he was.

“Please be fast as possible, there’s a contract we want to go and bid for, today.” Tobi said softly.

“I won’t waste your time and I don’t want you to waste mine. It has become an anthem that you should stop drinking but you’ve turned deaf ear to my words. Now, the advice I have for you is to get married or have someone that will be close to you..” she stopped, expecting him to pass a comment.

“Granny, we’ve discussed something like this before, I’ve told you that I don’t wish to get married, marriage is just like hell.” He uttered and dropped his briefcase.

“Who told you that! If you think you’ll be like this forever? You are merely joking because time isn’t your friend my son! Do you mean you have no one you are in a relationship with?” The pitch of her voice was getting higher.

“I don’t. From what i witnessed concerning my parents, I saw that there’s no love.” He said slowly, that horrible arguments and hatred between his parents had pissed his mind off marriage.

The time his father would be arguing with his mother, both had no unity. Though, his father had never raised his hands to beat his mother but they were always like cat and mouse till his mother died.

Aside that, he hated marriage and ladies naturally. His parents’ behaviour had made him believe again that love didn’t exist. He had even weighed the ladies out now, many of them just after money and at the end just jilt the guy. Many put on dresses that does expose their bodies, what else would he want in marriage again?

“I’ve always told you your parents won’t determine your own future, its your own wish that will come to pass. If you are patient enough and you hope and pray, yours won’t be like that of your parents.”

Tobiloba was still adamant. “I still don’t want any of them! Granny, I’m getting late.”

“Either you like it or not, you must marry and stop this your useless drinking with these friends of yours. I’m going to bring a lady to this place tomorrow, thank God tomorrow is Saturday.” She stood up.

A lady.. He repeated.

“I want to travel, Dad said he wants to send me to Manchester; where his brother lives, to complete my education.”

“That’s a nice idea, but he should have done that earlier than now.” Stella was glad.

“Wao, congrats.” Fave smiled.

“What’s the happiness and well wishes all about? Do I look like I’ve accepted his offer to leave?

“You refused? If I have that chance do you think I’ll wait here? Yes, you may not like it but you have to go!”

. “I wish to leave, but not without you.

“Because of me? Tolani!”

“Yes now, I can’t imagine leaving you all alone. Your dad is on the sick bed, you also know where your mother is… I can’t!”

“If it’s because me then… I’m no longer interested in this relationship.”

♡Four years after – Present.

Tolani just returned back to home, two months back. He was the one his father sent to head the headquarters of his companies.

He had tried all means to get in touch with her again but all was up to no avail. He had tried all he could but none of his attempts was able to locate where Stella was.

He called the phone numbers he knew but none went through. He visited the house he knew they were living in before his depature but still she wasn’t there despite his difficulties and obstacles.

He disciplined himself to the extent that he didn’t give his heart to anyone else because of Stella.

He had imagined how she could be, where she worked and what she looked like. He wished his wishes could come true so that he could set his eyes on her again.

The one I love episode 2

Tolani got back home and headed to his room. He was already tired, perhaps the day was hectic. It was less than 10 minutes after, Professor Olakunle drove into the compound in a Nissan Pathfinder Jeep. He walked in with his daughter, Feyi.

Professor was the owner of three popular hotels in the town and one of Oladele- Tolani’s father’s best friends. It was Oladele that established the Professor.

Though, he was an English professor but he had nothing good to do with his title as a professor until he met Oladele who turned his situation around into harmony. Then, he sent his daughter to Oxford University to study.

Feyi was a young, bright and beautiful young lady who studied Architecture. She was brilliant and graduated with colourful grades in the university. She loved drawing, which motivated her into the course she studied. Her father had been telling her he would bring her to Oladele’s place to greet him because he was the one that helped him and his family.

She walked in slowly, with her dark and hefty father. She was smiling in the brown gown she had on her and her brown purse. She had many purses and handbags of various types and colours which she did use to match any cloth she had on.

Prof had called Oladele earlier to know if he was around because he wanted to show him who her daughter was, at the same time, he wanted to know how Tolani was.

“Oladele!” He grinned and increased his pace on seeing his friend.

“Ha.. you came so early..” Oladele grinned as well and stood up.

“Welcome, how are you beautiful angel?” He sighted Feyi behind her father.

Feyi bent smiling. “I’m good sir, good day.”

“Come on, have your seat dear. I can read it in your utterances, hope you’ve not gone there to be speaking like them.

Feyi chuckled and sat down. “Not at all sir.”

“You better sit too..” Oladele addressed Prof.

Prof sat down as well. “Where’s my son?”

Oladele sat down. “He just came back from office and went upstairs. What would you like to eat?”

“I’m okay..” Prof. said.

“Who’s asking you? I’m asking my princess.”

Feyi was flattered. She grinned, exposing her beautiful set of white teeth. “I’m alright.”

“Tolani!” Oladele shouted his son’s name so he could come and greet his friend and ‘the princess’ as she was termed.

Tolani rushed down the stairs. He knew they had a visitor or more. He had taken his bath, he was just trying to check Facebook again if he’d find the name – Olasupo Stella.

‘Who are these?’ He asked within himself smiling as he saw the Prof. He bent and greeted him. “Good evening sir.”

“Wao! Tola has grown bigger!” Prof. admired him standing. “Same as his so-called wife.” Oladele said, jokingly.

Prof. and Oladele were so close before they missed their contacts. Then, Tolani was always called Feyi’s husband.

“Do you know her?” His father pointed at Feyi.

He gave a long look at her, as well as Feyi.

Tolani kept staring at Feyi, likewise Feyi herself. “I don’t think so.” Tolani replied his father that he didn’t recognize her.

“I knew it, what of you, Feyi?” He asked her.

“I recognize him, I still know him.” She smiled.

How? Tolani wondered and smiled too. “How was Manchester?” Prof asked Tolani.

They continued discussing with him and offered him a seat to sit as well.

****

It was already dark when Tolani walked down to his father’s room to ask him questions. He’s been bothered and didn’t want any trouble whatsoever. He was allowed to come in. His father was trying to send a mail when Tolani arrived.

Feyi and her father had gone some hours before that time so he felt he should ask his father the question that had been bothering him since he saw Feyi.

“Hope you enjoyed office today?” Oladele asked his son.

Tolani sat down calmly. “Yes dad.”

“So you really couldn’t recognize Feyi?”

“Dad, I came because of her. I’ve watched movies, read stories and I don’t like what majority of parents are doing, out there. I hope you aren’t planning anything like making her my wife or something?” He asked frankly.

Oladele chuckled. “Tolani!” He exclaimed on his name and stood up. “I’m not a father like those out there. See, I don’t discriminate. You can marry whosoever you wish to, she only came here to greet me.”

Tolani was relieved. He smiled and glimpsed at his father. “That’s a good idea.” He said.

Oladele also smiled. He wasn’t expecting the question his came to ask him. He wouldn’t do that, to his only son.

“Let me get going, I have some things to thrash in the office tomorrow.” He said and stood up.

*********************

Stella yawned and stood up from the sofa she laid on. It was already some minutes past nine, she was expecting Favour to return back from where she went to.

She told Stella she wanted to visit her father’s place if he’d recognize her and give her some money. It was just then, she entered slowly. “How was it?” Stella quickly asked on sighting her.

“Still the same..” she sat down, seemed tired.

“Nawa oh.” Stella said and hissed.

“See, I got to know there’s a vacancy at Diamond hotel while coming, let’s go and try that, early tomorrow.” Favour said.

“This was what my father did that later sent him to grave. I hope I’m safe..” she sighed.

“We’ll be prayerful, nothing is going to happen!” Fave assured her.

****

“For the time being, you’ll go and manage my Diamond Hotel. I don’t know why you children of nowadays love having your own company, set up. Can’t you discard Architecture and oversee my hotels?” Prof. Olakunle addressed his daughter, Feyi.

“That’s what I wish, how would I go abroad to study and at the end be the Overseer of Hotels?”

“No problem, I’ll take you there tomorrow for introduction.”

“Alright Dad.” Feyi smiled happily
