We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence.
See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls – Mother Teresa.
I have always acknowledged that there was a God, probably because of the family I was blessed with but I dint really know him till later on in life….
When I was in a tight situation and dint know where to turn to do I picked my Bible and randomly opened Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. Right there I felt a strong edge to pray. After this, I went out and the problem I was running from had vanished.
My relationship with God hasnt always been sweet. Sometimes I run back to the world but anytime I fall he’s been there to pick me up. He’s proved to me on several occasions He’s the I am and the only one who loves without judging.
Today as you read this, I humbly appeal to you to find God and hold on him tight because he loves you too much to see you wasted in the world.
Disappointment is inevitable. But to become discouraged, there’s a choice I make. God would never discourage me. He would always point me to himself to trust him. Therefore, my discouragement is from Satan. As you gone through the emotions that we have, hostility is not from God, bitterness, unforgiveness, all of these are attacks from Satan – Charles Stanley
