Hello folks, I’m highly enthused for yet another opportunity for us to learn something not new but ignored.
Today, also, we want to correct between two words that we use wrongly in our speeches. However, before the words let me ask you this; ” IF I WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE YOU A SHIRT AND I GAVE YOU A PIECE OF CLOTH INSTEAD,WHAT WOULD YOU DO”?
A couple of literates I asked this question told me almost the same thing like “I WILL SOW THE CLOTH INTO SHIRT. I hope you have the same answer on your MIND.
Now the two words we want to look at are SOW and SEW.
SOW means to put something such as seed(s) into the ground so that it grows or germinate.
SEW also means to make or repair clothes by joining of cloth together by passing thread through them with a needle.
Therefore, we SEW (not sow) cloth and also, we SOW (not sew) seed(s). Thank us all.
