“Men are born but husbands are made, to be born as a male is divine but to be a husband is by choice”. Not every man a lady meets can be a husband to her, being a man is not enough. To be a husband is more than bearing it as title after getting married but what you do in the marriage that makes you a husband to your wife. Many ladies are frustrated in marriage because they are married to guys who are men but not yet husband. Will like to share with you some insight about what makes a man a good husband to his wife. From the acronym of the word H U S B A N D we have:
H – Head: What makes a man a husband is when he’s able to assume his God given head in the relationship. The head contains the brain to think and bring solution to problems and eyes to see beyond the present into the future of their relationship. He must have a vision for his marriage, if not he’s not yet a husband.
U – Understanding: A man may see a lady with an attitude but a husband will try and understand those attitudes about his wife. Understanding your wife doesn’t mean you will have to grasps everything she does but rather learning to live with her based on knowledge. Only one man understand women and that is Jesus, if you try understanding a lady you will never graduate because they don’t even understand themselves.
S – Spiritual: A husband must be the spiritual head of the family. He must be able to lead his wife and family to God and create a godly atmosphere in the home. A husband who is connected to God is easily influenced by God’s word and Spirit. They don’t cheat on their wives.
B – Bread winner: What makes a man a husband is his ability to provide for his wife and family. The pride of any husband is his ability to take care of his wife and family. He provides shelter, food, and every basic things needed for a family.
A – Attitude: The difference between a man and a husband is that the husband now has an different attitude which is; a total commitment to his wife. A man may have a lot of ladies but a husband has only one wife who he loves and enjoy all the days of his life. Every wife wants a husband who will have a positive attitude towards his marriage and life.
N – Needs provider: Every good husband knows how to meet the needs of his wife, he doesn’t waste time trying to please other ladies, but try his best to meet the needs of his wife in providing love, care, security and hope for her. The truth is every good husband focuses on his wife.
D – Discipline: Every godly husband is a discipline man, they don’t follow their desires or eyes but rather think about the impact of their decisions on their marriage or relationship. They focus on their marriage, they emulate godly virtues that will bring honor to their family. If you

MOST LADIES WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE UNTIL THEY HAVE LOST IT.
