When you marry you marry with everything including your strength and weakness, good temperament and bad temperament, good manners and bad manners and etc. This is why it’s very important to know your partner and understand how he or she relates to others and situation.
It’s true that you can’t know everything about your partner before you marry but when you pray into his or her life enough God will allow certain situations to happen in your relationship which can help you know the kind of person you are going to stay with whether to proceed or retreat. Never ignore situations that happens in your relationship, they are clues to help you know the one you are about to commit your life to and most importantly the way he or she treats you, the relationship and others.
Never presume your partner can treat others badly and treat you with kindness. This is one reason you have to know the way your partner treats others like; parents, friends, co workers, pets, the weak, strangers and those who are under his or her care. Don’t ignore them thinking they will not treat you the way they treat others because of love, because most marriages are not surviving on love but rather on knowledge.
It’s very important to know how your partner unconsciously relates to others either by words or actions, it tells a lot about him or her. It will take x partners to allow their spouses to tell them certain negative attitude or areas in their lives that can affect their future marriage so that they can begin working on it. Arrogant and those with un teachable spirit are very difficult people to stay with, they can never make a good relationship, because they will always want to pursue their own course and do their own thing.
