Veronica refuses to accept Martin’s condition and Emiliano backs her up. Martin then decides to leave. Veronica goes running after him, she wants to him why he is behaving this way. Doesn’t he know that this business is very important? Martin is aware but he wants to know why she also doesn’t want him on board. She tells him because he only wants to around her which she doesn’t. Martin wants to be around her because he doesn’t want Emiliano to get closer to her. She thought he was mature enough not to mixed business with private life. Martin tells her he thought she will forgive him and give him another change. But well things don’t always end up the way you like. Veronica gets offended and asks him how he dares to say such things to her. She who though she was going to be happy with her husband. Martin tells her he is very sorry and regrets it. He wants to know what she wants to forgive him. Veronica tells him nothing, because she will never forgive him. Martin tells her fine then she can forget about the contract. She tells him she doesn’t care. He can do whatever he wants. Her heart is so hurt that she doesn’t care anymore. Martin then grabs her and forces to kiss her. She struggles but later gives in and kisses him.
Jorge, Botel and Emiliano show up and see them kissing. Emiliano tries to come between them but Jorge stops him. Raymunda buys some food stuff from Arturo. Blanquita arrives at the market and watch him from afar. Veronica enjoys Martin’s lips then later frees herself and slaps him. She tells him she is tired of his jealous and impulsiveness. Martin begs but she tells him to stop, she has reached her limit. The three men got close and Emiliano tires to pick up a fight with Martin. Jorge comes between them to prevent them from throwing blows at each other. Martin tells Emiliano he won’t let him get closer to Veronica. He reminds Emiliano that she is still his wife. Veronica tells him it is his jealousy she is talking about. He doesn’t want to accept that it is over between them.
Polo sees Blanquita getting closer to Arturo stands and tells him mum he is buying something. He runs to Blanquita and reminds her that if their mother catches her not even Saint Lorenzo can save her. Blanquita doesn’t care, she only want to see her prince charming. Polo wonders what wrong with Blanquita and Ana Perla. They always do crazy stuff for their prince. Martin tells Veronica he doesn’t believe she hate him. If not she won’t cover him with the sheet in the hospital. Veronica tells him she only did out of compassion.
Virginia intervenes but Veronica asks her to mind her own business. Emiliano insults Martin and tells him he took advantage of Matilde’s illness to kiss Veronica. Martin tells him Veronica is his wife and he loves her. Veronica asks Martin to leave if he doesn’t want to sign the contract. She tells Jorge they can buy the gold from Crescencio. Botel assures them he won’t sell it to them especially since they are foreigners. He suggests they accept Martin’s condition. Jorge agrees and asks them to accept it but they both refuse. Martin accepts to sign the contract. But he wants to promote Veronica’s jewelry line. Emiliano tells him her jewelry line is already selling in Europe and they have no franchise. Martin reminds him that contract stated no franchise in Europe and Asia not America. Martin asks Jorge he wants to expand their collection in America.
Manuel enters the girls’ room and Ana Perla tells him Blanquita is sleeping. She suggests they go out to talk. Pablo struggles to draw Ana Perla. Salma confide in Nicolas. He volunteers to be her confidant and she accepts. Gaby meets with Joaquin again. Joaquin tells her Raymunda doesn’t listen to him. She always puts her father’s decision first. Now she made him look like fool in front of him and he also got fired. Arturo goes behind his stand and sees Blanquita and Polo hiding there. Blanquita tells him she is hiding from his mother. Ana Perla promise to do as Manuel says if he leaves Blanquita alone. Manuel then takes advantage and offer to bring her office.
Blanquita tells Arturo if her mother sees her she will kill her. He gives her the flowers and asks her to be his princess. He keeps going up down attending to both Blanquita and Raymunda. Jorge accepts Martin condition since he has an order. Emiliano and Veronica have no option but to also accept it. Martin and Veronica are left behind with Virginia still listening to their conversation. Veronica tells Martin he got what he wanted. Martin tells her she is wrong. He still hasn’t got her and will do everything possible to get her back. He tells her he has somethings to attend to and excuses himself to leave. Virginia watches Veronica’s reaction and smile.
Raymunda got tired of waiting and decides to come and check on what is holding Arturo back. Blanquita hides behind the sheet before Raymunda get behind shelves. She sees Polo there and wonders what he is doing there. Manuel brings the tea to Ana Perla and makes sure she drinks it in front of him. Ireri informs the priest she is leaving Mina Escondida. Uspin asks the priest to pray for them. Veronica gives some document to Virginia to make some copies. Virginia refuses and reminds her that it is the messenger’s job. Veronica tells her the documents are confidential and wants her to run the copies.
Veronica tells her she has a long way to go if she wants to learn. Virginia tells Veronica she is sure Veronica is happy she can humiliate her. She assures Veronica it won’t be for long. Veronica agrees with her. Virginia herself will give up working with her. She reminds Virginia that the working hours are from 9 to 5 and asks her to be punctual. Virginia also reminds her that by 9 she is still in bed. Well that Virginia’s problem not Veronica. She asks Virginia to bring her a sealed mineral water. Knowing Virginia, she is capable of putting something in the water. Virginia tells her it won’t be a bad idea. Veronica asks her to quickly get the water for her. She asks her to arrange the document in alphabetical order. Virginia leaves and Veronica smiles. Joaquin confides in the priest about his argument with Crescencio. He wants to go the city to get his family but he has no money. He won’t let Cresencio control his family.
Cresencio shows up and asks him how he intends to do that. The argument continues until Cresencio decides to give him back his job. Joaquin declines and tells him he has no intention of working for him anymore. Gaby shows up and adds more fuel to the fire. Crescencio instantly draw his own conclusion that Joaquin cheated on Raymunda. Joaquin tries to explain things to him but those gossip women make matter worse.
They tell Crescencio they saw Joaquin carry Gaby like the way the groom carry his bride on their wedding day. Joaquin swear to the priest things are not like they all think. Emiliano and Veronica go to the hospital. Emiliano tries once again to convince her to accept him. Virginia makes the copies and curses Veronica. Daniel shows up at that time to make fun of her. She wonders if he came to apologies, he tells her no. he came to see Veronica, she tells him Veronica is not in. Daniel doesn’t believe her. she asks him to leave or she will call the police. Blanquita accept to be Arturo’s girlfriend and they kiss. Crescencio wastes no time in informing Raymunda that her husband is cheating on her with Gaby. Virginia closes the door and asks Daniel why he is treating her this way. She tells him she loves him, Daniel doesn’t believe her. She took advantages of his love and used him. Thanks to her he has no job and his license has been cancelled.
Veronica and Emiliano enter Matilde’s room. They see another doctor checking on her. Martin tells her he is specialist he hired for Matilde. She asks him why he didn’t inform her first. After the doctor leaves, she notices an improvement in Matilde’s movement. She runs into Martin’s arms and thanks him.
Pablo manages to come into Ana Perla’s room and gives her the drawing. He asks her to swear on her mother’s death that she doesn’t love him. Pablo realized she still loves him and they kiss.
