“Thank you for bringing me home Ethan and thanks for what you said, I really appreciate everything that you have done. ” I smile as I turn back to Ethan who returns the smile back to me.
“Oh, it’s nothing babe and I’m glad that I was able to help you and once again, I apologize on Becks, I will try and talk to him as soon as I see him. ” He smiles at me and I shake my head immediately.
“No please don’t. I don’t want you to talk to him about anything, I have already given up on him. Even if you talk to him, even if he begs for my forgiveness and promise never to do it again. Even if I foolishly forgive him because I’m foolish and helplessly very much in love with him then still, he would step out of his way and do that again. This isn’t the first time he would try begging for my forgiveness. I give to him and in next few days, he starts doing that again. ” I smiled sadly and he nods.
“Alright, I won’t talk to him about it when I see him but I will be sure to give him a piece of my mind because he doesn’t know how lucky he is that you love him very much. ” He says and I chuckle before turning the loose strand of my hair behind my ear.
I stare at him as he smiles at me and I don’t know why I feel so grateful to him. Maybe because of what he had told me, maybe because of his expertise with love that he had shared with me or maybe because he had been here for me but whatever the reason may be, I will never forget what he did today.
“Why? Is something on my face? ” He raises his brows, touching his face and I chuckle before shaking my head.
“Um… Okay but damn! You’re making me feel really nervous with the stare of yours. ” He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck and I chuckle once again before moving close to him.
I stand on my tiptoes and gently press my lips against his, even more surprised at how soft he feels against my lips.
“Thank you. ” I smile as I move back quickly, disengaging and he stares at me, surprise written all over his face.
“I will be going now. ” I smile again at him before turning back and walking inside the dorms. I turn around to see him still staring at me and I chuckle before waving at him and finally walking inside the dorms.
I stop on my tracks immediately as my eyes drops on who is standing by my door. I scoff and scan my eyes before looking to the other side and seeing yet another surprise.
Is there a party going on in here or something?!
I stride across the hall to get to him, ignoring him and turning to Javier.
“Zoe.. ”
“What’s wrong Javier? Why are you standing here, Is Arie not inside? ” I ask, ignoring him and I feel his eyes on me but I refuse to turn and look at him.
“I don’t know. I have been banging on the door since forever. I have been calling her also, she isn’t picking my calls. ”
“I thought you guys were together before I left. ” I raise my brows at him and he nods.
“Yeah and then we had a little disagreement but now she’s no where to be found. Can you help me call her please? Maybe she would pick your call. ” I nod before opening the door and walking in together with Javier, purposely slamming the door in his face.
Javier gives me a look when I turn back and I just shrug, my mouth dropping as I stare around the room.
Her things… Her things are gone?
“She left. ” Javier mutters beside me and I turn to look at him.
