Jayden’s pov
“Kimberly, I want you to marry my son.”
“What?” Kimberly’s eyes dilated in shock
“Mom! What are you saying?!” I exclaimed.
Then, she bursted into laughter. That was when i knew that she was joking.
“I was joking.” She finally said and Kimberly sighed relievedly and smiled.
“You almost gave me a heart attack.” Kim placed her hand on her chest.
“Oh sorry dear. Well, it will be a good thing if you both love each other. It isn’t a bad thing. I can’t wait to carry my grandchild.” My mom said as we got down from the stairs.
“Mom, can we just forget about it? Its quite early to start saying that. Anyway, I’d be going back to russia with Kimberly. I’m taking her back to her father.” I responded and made my mom sat on the couch in the sitting room.
“You’re taking her back?” My mom frowned at me. “Kimberly, what do you have to say? You want to go back to your father?”
Kimberly looked at me before replying, “Yes, I’d like to go back to my father. It’s nice leaving with you.” She feighed a smile.
“Oh! I’m gonna miss you so much. When are you going? So I can bless you both.”
“Tomorrow” I and Kimberly said in unison.
“Okay. I’d always remember you.” Mom told Kim as she hugged her.
“I won’t forget you and make sure you become hake and hearty cause I might pay you a sudden visit.” Kimberly replied and they disengaged.
I kept stealing glances at Kim. Seriously, I don’t know why I just want her to go.
Maybe for her to be with her father. Perhaps, I don’t want to fall in love with her.
No, I don’t think so.
Kimberly’s pov
Whenever Jayden looked away, I would look at him and wonder why he’s suddenly asking me to go.
Not that I didnt want to go, but it just too sudden. Or maybe he’s just doing it for my own good.
Well, I can’t wait to see my father. I so much miss him.
Then, our eyes met but I was quick to break the contact and got up from the couch.
I need to start getting ready for my trip. I’d miss Jayden’s mother and Sarah. Amd of course, the hitman, Jayden.
