Black Stars Players receive $30,000 each for sailing through

Players of the Ghana Black Stars are smiling all the way to the bank as they bag a whopping $30,000 for qualifying from their group to the quarter finals of the AFCON.

It was initially agreed that the players were going to earn $5,000 each for appearing in every group, whether they lose or not.

However, Mr. Kudjo Fianoo told Happy FM that a new arrangement had been reached with the players where they would be paid qualification bonuses. “The players will be paid a qualification bonus of $30,000 each instead of the purported $10,000 match appearance fee which has been peddled around,” Mr. Fianoo said.

The Black Stars topped Group C ahead of Algeria and will be playing the second placed team in Group D. ——by @UC Browser
