Popular news anchor on TV3, Nana Aba Anamoah has resigned from the Accra based media outfit.
The news was made public during the evening headline news, News 360 on the TV station.
During her stay at the station, Nana Aba Anamoah worked in several capacities such anchoring the news, serving as Deputy News Editor and hosting the popular Saturday sports show Diva’s Show.
The network sites ‘personal reasons’ for her resignation. We are not tempted to believe this is a prank since it is not 1st April yet.
In a string of tweets, the media outfit said;

According to the result released by INEC Chairman Attairu Jega, the APC won with 14,951,378 (51.70%) votes, beating incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. Jonathan represents the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winning 12,827,522 (44.36%) , votes.
This is Buhari’s fourth attempt at contesting for the number one position in Nigeria.
The former Military ruler garnered 51.70 percent of the votes cast, Goodluck Jonathan (PDP) 44.36 percent, Nuhu Ribadu (ACN) 5. 54 and Ibrahim Shekarau (ANPP) 2.43 percent.
The law requires a simple majority or 51 percent.
The APC candidate won in 21 states including Kwara, Kogi, Ogun, Oyo, Benue, Gombe, Kano, Jigawa and his home state Katsina.

A twenty-nine-year-old male nurse is facing trial for raping two unconscious female patients in the Accident and Emergency (A & E) Department of a hospital in Oxfordshire, UK.
Andrew Hutchinson pleaded guilty to 27 counts of rape and voyeurism on victims as young as 10 when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court Monday morning.
He was arrested when he was caught secretly filming women and girls at the White Horse Leisure Centre in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Detectives then searched his home and found the footage of the sex offender raping an 18-year-old and a 35-year-old in the A&E of John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

A cache of child porn and other footage he had made was discovered on a mobile phone, computer equipment, a memory stick and a camera.
The sex addict also abused two victims when he worked as a volunteer in the medical tent of the Wilderness Festival in 2013.
Police said all his victims had been ‘unaware’ of his crimes because they were either unconscious or being secretly filmed.
In total there were 29 victims of his campaign of abuse.
Hutchinson today admitted raping an 18-year-old women in October 2011 at the Oxford A&E department where he worked. He also admitted forcing her to engage in sexual activity without consent, assault and voyeurism.
He also admitted raping a 35-year-old woman in February 2012, who was also unconscious in A&E. The attack was also filmed and she was attacked with other patients feet away.
Police have said they have contacted all victims who could be identified.
Hutchinson had a stolen Nasopharyngoscope – a camera used by doctors for internal examinations – from John Radcliffe Hospital to help him film his victims.
He also admitted one count of theft and possession of class B drug ketamine.
Hutchinson was today remanded in custody and will be sentenced on April 27.

Pope Francis pleaded the scientific community to halt operations on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) this morning in an official Vatican release as scientists at the Large Hadron Collider next week are hoping to experiment with a possible connection with a parallel universe outside of our own.
The Pope’s criticism comes days after scientists at the CERN centre in Geneva, Switzerland, revealed this week plans to fire up the LHC ‘atom smasher’ to its highest energy levels ever in a bid to detect – or even create – miniature black holes and possibly “create an opening in the spacetime fabric”.
Another skeptic of the project is none other than respected physicist Stephen Hawking who has recently warned the end of the world could be sparked by the elusive ‘God particle’.

God has created boundaries between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Are these scientists about to unleash upon us the Gates of Hell?” he asked his followers, visibly shaken. “Are these the days of darkness spoken of in the Bible? Are the hordes of demons lurking in the fiery pits of Hell about to be thrust upon the world? These are questions we must ponder before allowing scientists to proceed to such experiments” he explained.
Last October, over 400 top physicists signed a petition warning that the Higgs potential might become unstable at energies above 100bn giga-electron-volts (GeV) and asking governments to keep experiments under these levels.
