I have a simple question. Do you really expect me to stop when i place a hot iron on your cheek and all you do is to laugh out loud? Ok that’s extreme. Lets try this one. Will you enjoy my company when all i converse with you about is how depressed i am?
If tears are usually associated with grief and pain, how will you describe a person who always sheds tears while excited when told a funny joke? Tears of Joy i guess. Emotions are usually a silent way of communication. They are mostly expressed on the outside and when hidden on the inside, find their way out through a behavioral pattern.
Do we have control over our emotions? This is the answer to that question. We have control over our conscious MIND and which information we allow inside but once that information is accepted, we loose control over the emotions that come out.
I used to cry as a young boy when i fell and people pampered me and asked what happened when i prefered not being asked anything because when i start to explain, it will be followed with tears. You may also have a unique way of expressing emotions but the challenge here is, do we always get the meaning of the expression of an emotion right?
Must we always say because a person is shy, quiet or soft eyed, he or she is a calm and reserved person? Wait till a stimulus hits his nerves and you can be shocked at the outburst. People can fake emotions and people can use emotions to achieve a goal. We will deal with this in the context of the Male and Female in the subsequent episodes. Keep broadcasting and love you.
