Nicodemus, so you think you could abscond with my money and concealment huh?
Nicodemus
Boss, it is not like what you are thinking, I can never do such a thing after all that you have done for me. I never had any negative motives to run away with your money or concealment, there was a snitch who blew my cover out to the police in the deal I was doing so boss I had to go on a low key. Boss, I am now on the wanted list of the police as they have been searching for me because I shot an informant who wanted to leak information on my whereabouts last week.
Boss
You told me that those people were genuine so I should give them as much concealment and goods that they need and now you are giving me stories and playing hide and seek with me.
Nicodemus
Boss, please give me three more days to get your money for you in full.
Boss
If you wanted to get me my money or concealment like you won’t be playing games with me. And you had the nerves to play with my little girl’s heart after you exploited her. Well, you said the police are after you right?
Nicodemus
I never played with your daughter’s heart boss, she was the person who called for a break- up and yes the police are after me, please do something about it for me, please.
Boss
Oh yes, I want to do something about it, that is why I made my boys dig you out from where you were hiding. I am hereby relieving you from the police hunt and any other attack so I am giving you a first-class VVIP ticket to hell. If by chance you meet my late father, tell him I’m now a very big boy and that if he thought for once that I will die a poor person after he chased me out of his house, then he was damn wrong. I command money from all angles and I own mansions and fleet of expensive customised cars.
Nicodemus
Boss, it has not come to this, remember what I have been able to accomplish for you over the years. I took a greater risk for you with my life and I abandoned my family just to make this cartel grow strong and powerful. Please give me a little time to clear this mess up. You know what I can do so please, reconsider your decision for I’m about to hit the biggest deal ever for you.
Boss
Shut that thing you call a mouth up, I’m not listening to any form of an excuse this time around. No one and I repeat, no one on this earth will ever stab me in the back or outsmart me and live to tell his story, I am the viper snake who accesses my prey before I attack and when I do, I don’t miss my target. As I was saying earlier before you had the nerves to interrupt me, when you meet my father tell him my accomplishments and achievements so far and tell him I was the one who gave you the ticket to hell. (pulls a pistol out and fires three times into the chest of Nicodemus).
Kwaku Mike couldn’t stand the sight of what he just saw so he made a little sound which got the attention of the people on the road.
Boss
What sound was that? There is someone around watching us, you guys should go into the bush and make sure you find that fool spying on us and bring him or her before me whether dead or alive.
Scorpion I don’t have to tell you what to do because you know what will happen if this spy leaks the information of what went on here, now go with your boys and don’t leave any stone unturned.
Scorpion
Okay boss, you know I am good with tracking and hunting people down so don’t worry your head at all. Boys team A to the left and team Z to my right, now go and if anything, send a signal to me, boss please go home for us to handle this.
Boss
Very well then, I will be waiting for you with any information you get.
Michael Ansah
(whispering to himself and running through the bush) Oh God please don’t let this wicked people get me because if they do I won’t leave to tell my story. I don’t know where I am even as at now, but I know you didn’t bring me this far to die this ugly death. Father God, please if you save me from this people, erh, I will never stop serving you and your house shall be my dwelling place.
Kwaku Mike kept running and he heard footsteps from behind and the next thing he hears is a gunshot which made him fall. The phone he used to record the video of how that young man called Nicodemus fell from his hand and as he searched around with his fingers he couldn’t find it so he rises up again and that is when he realises that the gunshot nearly penetrated his left arm. He runs without looking back, then from afar he hears the horn of cars which gives him hope that if he is able to get to the roadside he might get a car or someone who will give him a ride so he escapes from those wicked people. Another gunshot was fired and this time it hit his right thigh which makes him fall down again.
On the other hand, Quincy the friend of Kwaku Mike had gotten to the place that he was supposed to pick his friend up. But for several minutes of waiting for his friend, there was no sign of him (Kwaku Mike) showing up. And what got him more worried was the fact that Kwaku Mike’s phone was off. He had dialled his friend’s number for more than seventy times in a space of 40 minutes, he was wondering if Kwaku Mike had missed his way or possibly had an accident since drivers in that area drove very rough at night.
But after some seconds, he downplayed his thoughts and started thinking positive instead of negative. He decided to wait for a while before he decides on anything because he didn’t want to rush home and later get a call from his friend that he has now gotten to the place he is to be picked up.
Back at the bush, Kwaku Mike took minute steps to the roadside and any car he tried to stop passed him by without even slowing down to listen to him, he decided to jump onto the street so that a car could knock him down because with that he knew the driver could rush him to the hospital for treatment, he said to himself that if he dies through this act fine and if he survives also it will be great for him.
He saw a big truck coming but not on a tough speed and he decides to jump onto the street when it gets close. But on second thought he realised that if this car knocks him down and he doesn’t die, his life will be miserable because his injury might be severe and he won’t get any proper insurance from the car, so he made the truck pass and he hears the gunshot again this time without thinking twice he jumps onto the street and an approaching car knocks him down.
He falls down heavily after flying in the air with the force from the car that hit him. The driver comes out and it is a female. Out of pity and compassion, the lady comes close to examine if the person he knocked down is dead or alive. She sees that the person she knocked down is still breathing. She immediately tries to lift the person up and with the little strength Kwaku Mike had in him, he also helped himself up, moaning in pain and he whispers to the lady to please hurry up and take him out of the place.
He told her that if they delayed any further they will be gunned down. Immediately he made that statement, another gunshot was fired which made the lady see a reason to double her steps and push Kwaku Mike in the back seat of her car and even before the car moved another gunshot came again which hits her side mirror.
She gives a James Bond driving and leaves the place immediately. As confused as she was, she started asking Kwaku Mike what that action was all about and who he was and why people were shooting at him?

Young Lady
(in a confused state) Mr man, who are you and why were people shooting at you? Hope you are not a criminal because I don’t want any trouble where I will come in the news as your alibi or partner in crime.
Michael Ansah
(in pains) Aaaaaaah!!! Aaaaaaah!!! Aaaaaaah please take me to the hospital please am not a criminal.
Young Lady
That is what all the criminals say when they are caught, better speak the truth before I drive you to the nearest police station.
Michael Ansah
(still in pains) I swear with my life madam that I’m not a criminal, I happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Young Lady
What do you mean by being at the wrong place at the wrong time?
Michael Ansah
Madam, please drive me to the hospital first. I promise to tell you everything when I have been taken care of, I have been shot in the leg and you also knocked me down with your car.
Young Lady
Oh shut up, Mr man, are you not the one who jumped into the street, what were you thinking of in the first place and were you thinking the road is you bedroom or swimming pool? If you don’t talk now I will drive you to the police station some few meters ahead.
Michael Ansah
Madam, as I said am not a criminal, the people chasing after me just killed someone in the bush and I happen to be a witness to their crime, that is why they are after me to eliminate me so that the crime will remain a secret forever, am not a criminal and I shall never be one.
Young Lady
So, if you are not a criminal and part of them, what were you doing in the bush at this time of the day?
