Shortly after Maabena excused herself to visit the ladies, her phone that was on the table started ringing and it caught the attention of Ginola. Unfortunately, the caller was none other than Quincy and his picture was boldly displayed on the phone. Ginola out of curiosity took the phone and watched the picture on the screen carefully. He took his phone went to the gallery and after flipping through, he saw Quincy’s picture that was captured by the CCTV camera in his boss‘s mansion. He quickly copied Quincy’s number when he called again and placed the phone back as it was before he took it. He smiled to himself and did the cross sign on his face. In a short while Maabena came out from the ladies .

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Sorry for staying long inside there, most of the seats in the ladies were not in good shape so I had to wait till I got a better one to use.

Ginola:

(fakes a smile) Oh don’t worry my dear, the important thing is that you are out and here with me now but your phone kept ringing the moment you excused yourself.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

(picks the phone to check the caller) Oh, that was my boyfriend trying to reach me but I will call him back when we are done with our little meeting. You know, you don’t have to mix pleasure with business.

Ginola:

(smiles again knowing what he had stumbled upon) You are very correct my dear. I love the way you reason and I must confess your boyfriend is a very lucky guy to have such a pretty and intelligent lady as a lover. Some of us could give all we have to get such women but the nature of our work doesn’t give us time to engage ourselves in any intimate relationship for long. My job is always demanding my attention and my women can’t cope with that so I don’t get to stay in a relationship for long.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

(sips on her drink) Oh so bad for you but even with the sweet thing you just said about me, my boyfriend doesn’t seem to see my value and he takes much of his time attending to his male friend more than me.

Ginola:

(stops smiling and gives a serious face before talking) Men who treat women like that don’t deserve to live on this earth, they deserve to die and die a miserable death, my dear. He is to be shown the way to hell without mercy or any favour even though he will beg for his stupid life to be given a second chance on this earth. Do you have his picture on your phone? I want to see the face of that low life who has failed to acknowledge a very pretty and endowed lady like you?

Maabena Boaduwaa:

(picks her phone and searches for Quincy’s picture) That is him right there sir, his name is Quincy and we have been dating for over three years now.

Ginola:

(tries to be nice) Ah so this fine gentleman is the one who has failed to appreciate the good handiwork of God. He deserves twelve lashes from four strong men holding his legs and hands so that he can come back to his senses.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Hahahahaha say that again my dear, he deserves even more than that. I am praying to God that he comes back to his senses soon.

Ginola:

Not to worry my dear, everything will be fine in no time.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Hmmmmm, I will call him later. Now tell me the way forward, how is your method of payment going to be? I don’t like cheques when I’m transacting business with people I haven’t done business with before.

Ginola:

Don’t worry my dear, I will pay you physical cash when we agree finally on something.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

That sounds good, now take a look at this picture on my phone. The young man you see in there is the guy you have been searching for all this while. (hands her phone over to Ginola)

Ginola:

(takes a serious look at the picture on the phone screen) Mmmm you are right. You know what, I will meet you this evening at this same place with your money so that you also give me the information I need to nab this guy. He has been a thorn in my flesh for a very long time. Please meet me here This evening at 6pm so that we finalise everything once and for all.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

I will be here even before the 6pm you told me to report.

Ginola:

Very well then, I will see you later in the evening as I rush to go and organise your money for you in the evening.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Oh, I love people who walk their talk. I will see you later.

Ginola pays the waiter and rushes to the car park and sits in his car as he makes a phone call.

On Phone:

The Boss:

Yeeeeees, how may I help you this afternoon? I am relaxing and you know I don’t joke with my siesta when am observing it.

Ginola:

Boss! Boss!! Boss!!!

The Boss:

(cuts in) Will you talk and stop mentioning my name like a fool, you idiot.

Ginola:

Boss, I know after all the insults you are raining on me, you will sing my praise. Boss, I have gotten an informant who is willing to give me information on the fool who spied on us the night that we showed that traitor the way to hell. I mean that same guy who has given us sleepless nights.

The Boss:

Ginola are you sure of what you just said?

Ginola:

Boss I am very sure of what i’m saying and the informant even showed me his picture.

The Boss:

So what is the informant trading the information for?

Ginola:

Boss she is demanding for thirty thousand Ghana cedis in exchange for the information.

The Boss:

Herh, you mean the person having the information is a female?

Ginola:

Yes boss, she is a young lady who works at the hospital we chased that guy to that evening.

The Boss:

Hmmmm, this is very interesting indeed, so where are you now? You need to rush home and get the money for her before she changes her mind.

Ginola:

Boss, I’m about to drive from the place I met her to the house so that I come for the bounty she wants.

The Boss:

Hmmmmm, women can never be trusted in this world not to talk about keeping secrets. See, after you get the money to her, lure her into friendship and get to know where she stays, we will give her the ticket to hell for snitching on another person because in our line of business, no witnesses are left to tell the story some other time. Moreover she can blackmail us some day.

Ginola:

Boss, I’m not done with my exploits this afternoon. By the time i’m done telling you the next thing, you will see that I have killed two birds with one stone.

The Boss:

So what is the next thing you have for me?

Ginola:

Boss, I have also found that fool who came to deliver the faeces to us in replacement of the consignment.

The Boss:

(sits up) What did you just say Ginola?

Ginola:

Exactly what you heard boss, I told you I have killed two birds with one stone.

The Boss:

Hahahaha, indeed you have done what Napoleon couldn’t do and I’m proud of you. You know what, come over to the house right this moment because when this is all over I have a very big package for you as I promised.

Ginola:

(gives a loud laughter) Thank you very much boss I’m very grateful sir.

Ginola drives to the mansion of his boss to arrange for the bounty. Meanwhile Mike and Henrietta were having a quality time together and he took the opportunity to tell Henrietta about Julia and her late mother’s funeral.

He further went on to tell her about the feeling he thinks Julia has for him and that she shouldn’t feel bad whenever she sees the two of them together. Commissioner Barnor on the other hand conveyed an immediate meeting with his senior officers to show them the information he had stumbled upon so that they strategize on how they were going to clump down the boss and his entourage.

Several units and teams were formed and every team was given an assigned role on how they were going to go about things on the day they want to strike. A spy team was formed to monitor the movement of the boss and his group.

On the other side, Julia was thinking on how to approach his boss because he had not uttered a single word on the consignment she brought and that alone was choking her up.

Later in the Day:

At the Boss‘s Mansion:

Sheikh Nazir:

(walks in screaming as the bodyguards tried to stop him and tame him down) I have had enough of this nonsense and I won’t take any more excuses from you or anyone in this damn house.

The Boss:

Trouble, you can leave both of us now. I will handle it from here.

Trouble:

Okay boss, I will be outside. If you need anything you can call on me.

The Boss:

That’s okay.

Sheikh Nazir:

(still screaming) I have had enough of your gimmicks and child’s play Mr man! I spend an outrageous amount of money at the hotel I’m lodging waiting to receive the goods I ordered. Those things are not forthcoming and my freaking money isn’t also coming. There is a limit to what every rational human being can take and I have had it up to here, I can’t take this nonsense any longer and if……

The Boss:

(cuts in) Will you please shut your smelling mouth, you can’t walk into my house and be screaming my roof down with your unpolished English. Karl has made it clear to you that we are all involved in this mess together. The money we invested into this deal is thrice the amount you injected into the deal. I have on several occasions explained to you that you take your time as I try to solve this problem amicably. Shouting and barking like a dog won’t change anything and one thing that I hate so much is for people to walk into my mansion and scream like they are living in the jungle.

Sheikh Nazir:

What nonsense! How dare you call me a dog? You have the effrontery to insult me and call me names after you duped me of my hard-earned money. I am giving you three days, if I don’t get my money or consignment, hahaha Allah walahe, I will show you that I’m not as soft and sober as you think I am. In fact, I will make heads row in this house and I will drink from your skull.

The Boss:

(slams his fist on the dining table as he stands up from his seat) Enough of this nonsense you smelling pig! What I won’t take from you is for you to walk into my expensive mansion, insult and threaten me in front of my son and maids. For this gross misconduct and disrespect, I will grant you a free visa and ticket to hell (pulls a side arm out and fires three times into the chest of sheikh Nazir)

Trouble:

(rushs in) Boss are you okay? I heard the sound of a gunshot in here.

The Boss:

I am very okay, clear the mess here and if he came with his bodyguards, make sure none of them walks out of this compound alive. Also make sure you dump them at a place where no one will see you. I mean do a clean job and leave no traces behind. Now get going and do as I have instructed you to do.

Trouble:

Consider it done, boss.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Sorry, I’m late sir, I was stuck in traffic coming here and also you know the stress you pass through when using public transport?

Ginola:

Its okay my dear. The important thing is that you are here now and we can transact business from here. I have brought the money you charged in cash and in fifty cedis notes. Here you are so can I also get the address and information I need?

Maabena Boaduwaa:

(takes the brown envelope and checks through) I hope this money is intact and not fake because I’m going to give you genuine information over here.

Ginola:

My dear I don’t do fraudulent business and if you check the money, you will realise I even added extra one thousand cedis to it. Where is the waiter even? Am starving he should come and take our order so we eat and talk business at the same time.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

(smiling) I love your style of doing business sir. You know what to say and when to say it, I like you for that. Here on this paper is the address of my boyfriend, that idiot is squatting at my boyfriend’s place and he has not made up his mind to move today or tomorrow but I hope you won’t kill him because I don’t want to be part of anything that leads to death.

Ginola:

(smiles whiles he speaks in his head) See mumu. You greedy bitch, if you push an old woman, does where she falls concern you?

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Hello! Hellooooo!! Helloooooooo!!! Hey is everything okay with you? You look missing here?

Ginola:

Oh forgive me my dear, my mind just took a short trip on a journey where we went through hell trying to get this dude but look at how God has brought him to me through an angel like you.

Ah, the food is in finally, my dear enjoy your supper so I drop you after we are done eating. You are carrying a huge sum of money on you this evening and you can use part of this money to buy a small car so your movement becomes very easy and smooth.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

As if you are in my mind and you know what I intend to do. Ah, my boyfriend just sent me a text to come over to his place right now.

Ginola:

Not to worry, I will drive you anywhere you want to go this evening just to keep your money safe. I don’t want anything to happen to this money for you to think I doublecrossed you or tricked you.

Maabena Boaduwaa:

Of course, I will think that way should anything negative happen to me or my money but I believe you are a gentleman and won’t do anything mischievous.

Meanwhile Henrietta Barnor had gone in for the apartment keys he promised Mike of and took him to see the place.

Henrietta Barnor:

Sweetheart, this is the place I spoke to you about. Daddy said we can keep it until we decide to move elsewhere or build our own.

Michael Ansah:

Bae this place is really nice and cool, I love the serenity of the environment and it’s located at a very vantage place in the city. I promise I won’t let you and your family down because to whom much is given, much is always expected from. Baby girl, give me six months from now and I will walk you down the aisle and change your name because you have stolen my heart.

Henrietta Barnor:

Mike, I have a confession to make over here and I pray you don’t get mad at me.

Michael Ansah:

Please, don’t tell me you don’t want to settle down with me.

Henrietta Barnor:

Far from that dear. Hmmmm, see erh, please don’t get mad at me when I open up to you on my past.

Michael Ansah:

If only it’s your past and you are no longer living there, I don’t have a problem with that. Everyone has an ugly past and a scar in his or her heart that they are not proud of. I believe what you are about to say is something that happened before you met me right?

Henrietta Barnor:

(nods her head in an affirmative way) Mike don’t be scared with what I’m about to tell you because I trust you that’s why am letting you in on this one because love without trust is meaningless.

Michael Ansah:

Now you are really scaring me, do you have any medical record that is making you think I will turn my back on you later in the future? Hell no my darling, I am stuck on you like super glue.

Henrietta Barnor:

Hahahaha I love your assurance baby boy. Well to hit the nail on the head, i am an undercover agent who works with the Interpol and I was brought back home to help investigate and apprehend a notorious drug mogule called Albert Selassie aka The Boss and his partner Karl Simpson who is a Whiteman after he gruesomely murdered my cousin who was an informant to the Interpol. The only way I could penetrate through to him was through his son Albert Selassie Junior, unfortunately, I had to lose my virginity to him so that he could open up to me more and lead me to his father but my plans never worked out.

I started mounting pressure on him to introduce me to his father as his fiancee but he always had an excuse to give and my superiors were also going hard on me because I had elapsed the time that was given to me to bring them down. Albert thought and believed my story when I told him I was from a very poor family, he really supported me financially but he was so arrogant and full of himself. He didn’t want to introduce me to his father thinking his father will not approve of our relationship and that I was a gold digger.

Michael Ansah:

Bae, please tell me you are joking with the things you just said? You, Henrietta Barnor, an undercover agent from the Interpol? Am I safe with you?

Henrietta Barnor:

You are very safe my king, so don’t be scared.

Michael Ansah:

Hmmmmm, if you say so I have heard you my expensive jewel. So what else do you have to add to your story that was making you scared of me leaving you or walking away from you?

Henrietta Barnor:

That is all my dear. When I was applying for this job my mother was worried and scared because she said Ghanaian men and African men feared women who were in uniform or working with any recognised security service so if you were observant when you came to the house, she was giving you great attention and pampering so that you feel welcomed in our family.

Michael Ansah:

Hahahaha, then tell her, her tactics has worked out perfectly because i’m in to stay. (Herty plants a quick kiss on Mike’s lips as they get down to business in the room)

Meanwhile Maabena and Ginola were done with their meal and Ginola paid for it and they left the resturant. He opened the door for Maabena. He drove her to Quincy‘s place. In no time they got there and Maabena ignorantly pointed out the room of her boyfriend to her new found friend. Ginola nodded his head and smiled as he bade Maabena goodnight and drove off. When he was out of sight he parked the car by the roadside to call his boss.
