NAVY OFFICERS ANGRY AT LACK OF LOGISTICS TO FIGHT BOAT DISASTERS

Navy officers who are deployed to various places along the Black Volta River to check overloading on boats are fuming with anger. The anger of the navy officers stems from the fact that central government has failed in providing them with basic logistics, resources and structures to aid them.

2016 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) yesterday began nationwide. About 461, 013 candidates from 14, 267 public and private Junior High Schools (JHS) in the country are expected to take part in the week-long examination which is expected to end on Friday, June 17, 2016.
