Ana Perla wakes and feels something bad is happening. Manuel continues to kick Pablo’s unconscious body and drags him out. Veronica asks Martin to promise her that nothing will separate them again. He promises to protect their privacy like she was supposed to in the first place. Veronica asks him never to let go of her even when she gets impatient with him. He promises not let her go and part two activated.
Salma finally decide to tell the truth to Jorge. She fell in love with a man. She gave herself to him and he disappear, later she found out she was pregnant. Jorge asks her if that man is her cousin, she says no. Roberto only took advantage of her pregnancy. His wife could not have children and two months after she gave birth she stole her child. Virginia is already making plan to get back at her enemy. Jorge asks Salma why she didn’t tell him Virginia was her daughter. She loves him and didn’t want to lose him. Jorge suggests she tells Virginia, she feels it is not necessary. Well Jorge tells her he won’t be her accomplice.
Emiliano is busily arranging his romantic dinner with Veronica tonight. He doesn’t want to give them the chance to re-unite. If only he know that Veronica and Martin are making babies back in their mansion. Crescencio wants to know who told Pablo about Ana Perla’s pregnancy. He blames Blanquita and tells them not to tell anyone about it. Raymunda remind him that Pablo is already aware she is expecting his child. He asks them to deny it, Blanquita tells him it means they have to lie. Their father told them never to lie; Crescencio tells her that her father is the last person to talk about moral.
Talking of respecting their privacy, Nancyiaga enters the San Telmo mansion without even knocking. She sees her patron Martin and his wife both naked on their romantic rose bed. Martin sees her first and quickly wears his trouser. He grabs her hand and drags her to another room. Martin asks her what she wants and tells her not to come to this house again. Nancyiaga asks him if he knows how much he is hurting her. She tells her boss she sees anger in his eyes. Martin tells her it is not only anger, but deception and pain. He reproaches her for not telling him the truth. Nancyiaga tells him no, things didn’t happen this way. Martin tells her he hates her and doesn’t want her near them again. He asks her to leave his house, Nancyiaga begs him to listen to her reasons. She loves him with the strength of a panther. With that same strength she will defend the love she has for him. Martin reminds her that he told her several times that what she feels for him is impossible. Martin asks her to leave them alone; she tells him the white woman will disappear. She will cause him pain in his heart and soul. Martin asks her to keep quiet. She tells him hiding the truth doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Veronica joins them and wants to know why she thinks so. Veronica wonders if she hasn’t caused them enough pain already. Nancyiaga tells them she is telling them the truth. There is a lot of pain in Martin’s future all because of her. Veronica asks her to give up because nothing will separate them again. Nancyiaga only want to protect her boss, Veronica tells her she and Martin loves each other. She asks Nancyiaga to get out of the house. Nancyiaga reminds her she is only takes orders from Martin.
Julio confesses to the priest that Ana Perla is pregnant. Crescencio and Manuel want to hurt the child. Salma feels it is not time to tell Virginia because of her health. Jorge feels all this time he was living her lies. He though she will have the opportunity to know how being a mother feels like. Salma apologies but Jorge feels sorry. Lies always separate couple and it is exactly what happens to them. He asks her to go and sees her daughter; he is going to check on Matilde. Salma tells herself she doesn’t need Jorge forgiveness. She has no intention of telling the truth to Virginia because she will never forgive. Virginia feels it is not the right time for her to be sick. however she is going to use her sickness to her advantage. She will make everyone believe that Veronica lied when she said Virginia wasn’t sick.
Martin drags Nancyiaga to the door and asks her to leave his house and never to return again. Nancyiaga tells him he is making her heart bleed. Martin tells her he already has a woman. Nancyiaga decides to leave but assures them they will remember the echo of her word with tears in their eyes. She finally leaves and Veronica tells him she is crazy. They quickly change the subject and talk about their future. Julio wants the priest to help him with Ana Perla. The priest reminds him that he spoke to him under the oat of confession so he can’t discuss it with anyone. Julio understands but wants him to talk to Cresencio.
Magdalena leaves Matilde’s room to have something to eat. She runs into Jorge in the hallway. She is surprised to see him; she thought he was in Mina Escondida. He informs her about Virginia’s condition, Jorge can confirm now that Virginia and Daniel were lovers. Jorge informs her that Aaron killed his brother and called Veronica’s from prison.
Virginia enters Matilde’s and sees her sleeping. Jorge asks Magdalena not to allow Aaron affect her and decides to go with her to the canteen. Virginia takes a pillow but before she could cover Matilde’s face a nurse knock at her door. Virginia hides behind the door and runs off as soon as the nurse enters with Matilde’s drugs.
She returns to her room and Salma comes out of the washroom and asks her where she went. She tells her she wasn’t feeling well so she went to look for a doctor. Salma wants to know what Virginia is hiding from her. Virginia can’t believe Salma also doubts her. Salma asks her not to play the victim; Virginia does what she knows best. Salma doesn’t buy and want Virginia to tell her the truth, was she dating Daniel.
Daniel is pissed off because Virginia didn’t show up as agreed. He decides to call Salma to let her know the type of person Virginia is. Martin takes Veronica rounds the house; she likes the place and wants to stay there. Martin agrees but they need a bed. Their romantic bed is too hard for his back; she agrees to go the hotel. She tells him she has something important to do. Martin knows she has a dinner date with Emiliano.
Gaby visits Joaquin to say goodbye because she is leaving town early morning tomorrow. She drops her handkerchief without both of them noticing it. Manuel visits his sister in the cell. Manuel teases her; she tells him he has no heart. Manuel tells her Pablo also told him the same thing. Ana Perla asks him if Pablo is in town.
He tells her yes but just like he told her if Pablo returns, he will kill him.
Manuel dump Pablo’s body in the bush. Ana Perla tries to leave the cage but Manuel stops her. She gets angry and curses him for killing the father of her child. Manuel on the hand is enjoying his moment; she swears she will never forgive him. Daniel calls Salma while she is with Virginia. Ana Perla throws her bowl of soup on Manuel face and runs off. He cleans himself and goes after her. As soon as Virginia hears Salma asking Daniel what recording he is talking about. She pretends as if she can’t breathe properly. Salma drops the phone and decides to go and call the doctor. Virginia holds her and asks her not to leave her alone. Salma asks her why doesn’t she look so worried and what recording is Daniel talking about. Daniel decides to trade the recording to Veronica and Martin. Ana Perla drops her bag on the way; thank God Julio sees it first.
Raymunda visits Joaquin and decides to listen to him. He swears that nothing happen with Gaby as everyone thinks in the village. Raymunda blames Gaby but Joaquin defend Gaby. She gets angry at him for defending Gaby. to make things worse she sees Gaby’s handkerchief. Julio start shouting Ana Perla’s name, she and Manuel hears Julio’s voice.
Emiliano is still in his dreamland, everything is set to win Veronica over. He comes to the reception and sees Veronica and Martin kissing passionately.
