Emiliano and Veronica are not happy about the flowers. Blanquita and Ana Perla arrange their stuff. Blanquita decides to write to her prince charming to update him. Emiliano tells Veronica he is sure the flowers are from Martin. She wants them to solve their problem before she goes to Mina Escondida. She tells Emiliano she is going to ask Martin for a divorce.
Pablo returns to the meat shop to work. Cresencio’s family is all ready to leave the city. Veronica recalls the day Jorge question’s Martin intention towards her. She also recalls their wedding and cries. Arturo waits for his princess but to no avail.
Virginia refuses to have breakfast because she has to go work. Emiliano is surprised that she is taken her job so seriously. Salma asks her to spend some time with her before she leaves. Virginia tells her she has a lot do in the office and runs off. Salma asks Emiliano to join her, he tells her he has work to do and leave. Salma is left all alone at the table, she almost cries.
Matilde is getting better and her movement has also improved. Martin opens his door and sees Veronica. His smile turns into a frown when Veronica introduces him to her lawyer. She wants them to start with their divorce process as soon as possible. Magdalena tells Botel Veronica is gradually accepting her as her mother. Martin doesn’t want to divorce and tries to convince her. The lawyer intervenes and Martin tells them he has no intention to divorcing her.
Pablo returns home with a big smiles on his face but very tired. He informs Lucia that he is going to be a father. Lucia doesn’t know whether she has to celebrate or be sad. She reminds her son that Ana Perla’s parent doesn’t like him. Veronica wants to know why Martin doesn’t want to divorce her. He tells her he loves her, and she also loves him. She reminds him of all the pain he made her go through. Martin agrees but he begs her to give him another chance. She tells him she prefers to divorce him. she doesn’t want to end up hating me. Nancyiaga feels something bad he is going to happen to her boss Martin. Julio asks Ana Perla not to worry he will defend her and take good care of her.
Crescenio is having a hard time back in Mina Escondida. The people give him a dirty look. he feels that no one respects him again. All thanks to Joaquin’s infidelity. He takes it on a young lady and reproaches her for dressing indecently. The young lady put him in his place. Gossip surely spread fast in this village. The villagers interrupt Gaby’s class and call her names. They end up dragging their children out of the classroom leaving Dorita behind. Martin and Veronica keep going up and down. Veronica decides to leave since he doesn’t want to divorce her.
Her lawyer hands over the papers to him. Martin tears them right in front of her. He throws the papers away, and goes running after Veronica. Father Juan tries to convince Crescencio not to misinterpret thing. The old man knows what he saw himself in the house. No one is going to make him think otherwise. Joaquin confides in Onyx, he is not going to allow Cresencio takes over his family. Martin and Veronica take their argument in the street.
Pablo knocks at Crescencio door but no one respond. A neighbor passing by informs him that they all left. Blanquita informs Ana Perla she is not going to give up on her prince charming and her ambitions. Pablo decides to sneak through the window again. He sees the note and smile thinking it belongs to him. He reads Arturo’s name on the envelope and frown. Arturo on the hand get tire of waiting for his princess.
Salma employs a new maid but she reminds her she accept no mistake. Arturo shows up in time to meet with Pablo. Crescencio is going crazy back in his house. Pablo informs Arturo about the crazy family he got himself involve with. He however gives Blanquita’s letter to him. The doctor informs Aaron it will be difficult for him to walk properly. He advises him to be very careful if not he will lose his mobility.
Aaron puts his frustration on his poor bother Clement and beat him up. He ends up chocking his brother to death in the prison cell. Nicolas calls Salma and invites her out. Emiliano hears him and wants to know if he was talking to Salma his mother. He asks Nicolas what is going on between them.
Raymunda and the rest come directly to Cresencio’s place. He wastes no time in updating them on the humiliation that Joaquin put his family through. Raymunda decides to go and talk to her husband. Crescencio refuses and orders her to seat. He even forbids her to see her husband again. Polo reminds him that Joaquin is his father. He then turns to Ana Perla to inform her he will take her baby away.
Ana Perla defends her baby, Crescencio tells her she will be locked up. Nancyiaga goes to the priest to inform him about her feeling. She tells him Martin will return to Mina Escondida but he will be in pain. Martin runs after Veronica shouting for her to listen to him. Veronica pays no attention and runs.
Meanwhile Daniel hired some guy to knock Martin down. They wait patiently for him not far from his apartment. As soon they see him they spark their car. Veronica turns and sees the car coming straight towards his direction. She yells for him to be careful but…
