Kwaw Kese has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he complained of stomach problems.
According to Erastus Asare Donkor a report from Luv FM’s , he was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon after he complained of a stomach upset.
He was then sent to the ‘Yellow ward’ which indicates his condition is not severe. Doctors seeing to the hiplife artiste have confirmed that he is not in critical condition.
Kwaw Kese was remanded in prison custody till December 22, 2014 after being charged with unlawful use of a substance suspected to be marijuana.He was arrested at a drinking spot close to the popular ‘+2 Pub’ Nhyiaeso, in Kumasi Ashanti Region.
Kwaw Kese’s lawyer, Nana Kwasi Boaitey, argues that the speculation by the police that the substance was Indian hemp was not enough for the court to deny his client bail.
Since his arrest, major stakeholders in the music industry such as former hiplife artiste Lord Kenya, made calls for the release of the musician.
Lord Kenya, now Evangelist has said in various interviews that though the law must take its course, a human face must be applied in the case.
